Kenny from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania graduated from the recovery program at Palm Partners. Here is his testimonial “How are you doing? My name is Kenny. I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I just want to say that this place has been amazing. A couple of years ago, I found myself living underneath a bridge, by the train tracks up north. I thought, that was it, that’s where my life was going to take me. That I was going to be a bum, be a mess up. During a certain chain of events, I sucked it up, I came here. I want to say that I am a heroine addict and you don’t have to look at this thing as a curse. What I found out is that you can consider it a blessing because you find yourself uniquely inclined to helping other alcoholics and addicts. That’s a gift and a high that you can’t buy in a bag. You come here, you live life and you realize that you can be beneficial to people, it’s the greatest gift. It really is. For the people that are first coming into detox, getting over that initial hump, I understand is the hardest part but if you just stick with it and you accept the fact that you can take your life some where and this place is a stepping stone for that. Like I said, you don’t have to accept the fact that living a chaotic, catastrophic life is what you are going to be doing for the rest of your life. Here, this is the place that you can change
